COMMAND WARRIOR MECHA
Height:
60m
Primary Role:
Command and control the battle of friendly forces.
Secondary Role:
Act as frontline fighting unit.
Description:
Two legged mecha. The colour scheme is based on its primary terrain. Usually gunmetal grey or woodland camouflage. Carries a magnetic rail cannon, two edged retractable forearm blades, disposable missile launchers on shoulders and legs.
Background:
The UNRF Command Mecha, although not as streamlined and fluid as the Battlemaster’s Command mecha, was created as close humanly possible to the original design. The one main difference is that the Command Module is a three person cockpit with the Pilot and Gunner sitting side by side and the Commanding Officer sitting behind and above them. As the humans were not as advanced as the Djoreli, and it would take time to develop their technology to the same level, their alternate means was to allow for the Commander to command, the pilot to drive the mecha, and the gunner to control the weapon systems. Especially for a mecha this size. Before the arrival of the Battlemaster and the Sazzarran invasion force, the humans only had infantry power armour and mecha that were 5 metres tall, used as heavy support. Mecha of that size were easier to pilot for one person, and the humans has spent their own number of years gaining experience using the machines.
